Clay Mine

A Memory of Corfe Mullen.

In the 50's there was a clay mine,as opposed to an open pit, which was in Candy's Lane.
The clay was loaded into railway wagons an taken by rail to a siding in the old Carters works on the Backwater side of the Blandford road.
