A Memory of Dewsbury.

I remember having swimming lessons with school at the old Dewsbury baths. I know it later became a squash club because I had my wedding reception there! I live in Brighouse now but don't get over to Dewsbury very much, so I don't know if the building is still there.

Hi, yes it is still there, part of the building is now a bathroom shop, I too used to go to Dewsbury baths in the early 60s, good old Mr. Grimes, we went with the school to learn to swim, happy memories. Susan

Hi all DAS Club (Dolphins) Used the Old Westgate site. This was their home until 1974. We now use the pool on on Longcauseway.
We have an old photo that was my father in laws but was scaned in the 90s and is poor. He is now no longer with us and the photo was cleared out with other items. If any one has a better copy of this and the other pool, can we have a copy please for the web site.
