Remember Me??

We lived in Coronation road in the early 1960,s. My family moved to australia in 66. Have never forgotten playing out in the back road in summer and the snow in winter. The coal hill at the end of the road. My dad worked in the pit and went to the squirrel pub often. Remember the junior school and starting high school. The buildings have gone now as was the road when my husband and I visited. I wish i had got to see our old house again but saw the junior school before it was pulled down. I remember a little sweet shop down the road from the little school. Used to go there on way to high school. The fish and chip shop at the end of our road. The allotments. My only wish is I wish we had gone back sooner.

Wish i had some pics too of the old places. Have searched but no luck. Was in touch with an old mate of my brothers but lost track of him again.
