Hayling Island Holidays
A Memory of Hayling Island.
The picture of Creek Road in 1965 is how I remember it, my parents used to own a caravan on Elliot's Caravan Park and as a child I remember walking up this road past the shops and the amusement arcades towards the beach many times. I also remember Eastoke, Mengham, Beachlands and The Ferry Boat Inn. We used to holiday there nearly every year until 1976 when Dad sold the caravan, and I have many happy memories of Hayling Island. I recently revisited Hayling Island and Creek Road, and it has changed so much hardly anything remains as it was.
