Hendon Fire Station

A Memory of Hendon.

After my training as a Fireman I was posted to Hendon Blue Watch who were a great bunch of guys but notorious for their practical jokes! We had many a pint in the Greyhound and the Chequers, after work.

My Grand Father was stationed at Hendon firestation during the war. They were also drafted into central London during the Blitz. Havent been able to track down the employment records. The exact location seems to have been lost ? Hope one day to track them down.
