From brief one-liners explaining a little bit more about the image depicted, to great, in-depth accounts of a childhood when things were rather different than today (and everything inbetween!). Holy Trinity School

I am trying to find old photographs of my house which is the former school in Hoghton...Holy Trinity.The school was converted to a house in the early Eighties.I would love to see how the building looked as a school...perhaps if you were a pupil or lived in the village you might have some old snaps tucked away in a cupboard? I would really love to see them.Many thanks.

Pheasant Beating

I spent many a Saturday, walking the woods of the tower, beating sticks and making noise. After a good 8 hours trudging up and down slopes and in the mud, they feed us a bowl of bad stew and beer.
