Batten Descendants
A Memory of Menheniot.
I am looking for anyone who has any BATTEN ancestors from Menheniot, Liskeard, St Germans and Saltash. I descend from Robert and Sarah (no other info) whose children were (all born Menheniot) Sarah chr 1802, Richard b Nov 1803 mrd Ann Warne, Sarah b 1805, Elizabeth b 1808,Dorothy Easterbrook b1810, William b 1812, Mary b 1815, Christiana b 1817.
Richard and Anns children were born in Menheniot, Liskeard and St. Germans
William b 1825, Mary Ann b 1827, Richard b 1829, Robert b 1831 (he came to New Zealand about 1865), James Warne b 1833, Elizabeth b 1835, Emma Jane b 1844, Selina b 1847.I have Roberts family over here but would like to find living descendants of any of the above people. This is ongoing research and I am still discovering snippets. What I would most like is cemetery names and headstone inscriptions of these people. If anyone over there is close to the local cemetery and is able go hunting for me and maybe get photos I would be most grateful.
