Sad Day
A Memory of Strabane.
When I left Strabane at the age of 14 years old I will never forget going to the railway station with my Dad to see me off; I cried all the way to the railway. I don't think I listened to my dad telling me don't do this don't do that, come home if you are home sick. Seventy five years old and I am still in England. I go home as often as I can. My mum and dad are not there any more but a lot of school friends and family are. I have seen a lot of changes in Strabane for the better, but I will never forget the great times and memories we had in old Strabane, and yes I was home sick for years.
