Ice Cream Parlour.

A Memory of Welling.

I remember the Ice Cream Parlour opening near the corner, Tony's I think it was called. Being only 13-14 at the time, we could never afford to buy one but it was fun to watch, all chrome and glass, just like an American movie.

Ice cream parlour I think it was Ferrari's was there for years my dad always bought his grandchildren ice cream there when he die we all has ice cream as a memory to him.
I used to go there every Saturday before going across the road for the junior disco at the Enbassy ballroom. It was called, as you say, Ferraris
Thank you for sharing the name of Ferrari's! I've never tasted soft ice cream quite like it anywhere else. Whilst living in a flat above a shop (where Tesco is now) in Embassy Court in 1982/3, a trip to Ferrari's on the way to Danson Park was a special treat for me and my young son Joseph. Happy memories.
