Holbury Mill
My family are the Aylwards who use to own Holbury Mill as well as well as East Dean & one other. I'm doing my family tree now and if anyone has any info on these mills or the Aylward family or anyone who use to work for them I'd love to hear from you.

RE: RE: Holbury Mill
I am doing a family history currently, my Great Grandfather was shown a census as living at Lockerley Mill, c.1901-1911 my Grandfather was possibly born there. Their name was Ceaser.

RE: RE: Holbury Mill
I am looking for the Aylward family of Lockerley. One of my uncles (Victor John Gray, a 23 year old Australian who was a Private in the Australian Imperial Force) stayed with the Aylwards in 1916 before being sent to the Western Front where he died in April 1917. I thought the Aylward family may be interested in having a photocopy of the letter my uncle wrote while staying with the Aylwards - he spoke of them very highly.
