Holidays at Longparish

I used to visit my aunt and uncle who live in Longparish, we went there for our holidays, their names were Oswald and Ellen Warwick. They live in Northacre at number 4. We used to visit the local farm and try to catch the rabbits as they ran from the harvester, we never caught any, they were too quick. The old public house was called the Freehouse but we never got any free lemonade, we never understood why!

RE: RE: Holidays at Longparish

How interesting your comments were on staying with Ellen and Oswald Warwick, I have deduced from your comments that I am your cousin Ron Warwick.Your father must have been my uncle Fred who lived in Chawton? You may be surprised to know that I still live in what was No 4, it now is numbered 131 North Acre. Much has changed from the time of your stay with Mum and Dad but the village is still not so different, just a bit more trendy due to an influx of the idle rich, as you may know they tend to take over the running of things but the heart and soul of the place is still in the hands of a few remaining village people. If you receive this feel free to send me an E Mail at: ronald.warwick@sky.com I can furnish you with a rabbit any time as part of your trip down memory lane Ron

RE: RE: Holidays at Longparish

Hello Ron, it is me, Ann, your cousin. How are you and the family? I did so enjoy coming down to Longparish and I would love to see it again to see how it has changed. Maybe in the summer we will come and see you all and take that trip down memory lane. Love Ann & family
