My Granny - Annie Norris - used to work at Adderley Hall. I do not know the dates. As a child I used to visit the ruins

In 1940 I was a pupil at Adderley School, I remember the Norris very well, Derek Nora and Brenda they lived in the lodge opposite Adderley School before moving to Calverhall.

RE: RE: Granny

I am attempting to find anyone who may have been involved with Adderley Hall during its time as a POW camp for a friend coming from Germany later in 2010 whose father was a prisoner during its time. I would be most grateful if anyone with memories of this abode would contact me.
Thank you

RE: RE: Granny

My grandfather owned the Lodge Adderley I am told. Is it, or was it near Adderley Hall. His last name was Bennion. Any information on the Adderley Lodge will be helpful to our family history. Thanks

RE: RE: Granny

My grandfather John Willie Millington was a footman at Adderley Hall - he is listed in the 1901 census. I was wondering if anybody knew of Frances Williams whom he met and married in 1902. I know his family lived in Coxbank but cannot trace the origins of my grandmother. They married in a registry office in Paddington, London.
