Menston Fire Station
I had heard that there was a fire station, probably in the area of the Fox and Hounds public house. I recall a conversation with my father, sadly no longer with us, and he gave me an old set of keys, telling me they were for the fire station next to the Fox and Hounds. Information on the keys indicate that my father was a fireman prior to call up in the Second World War. I would just like to know if anyone can recall this or even has a photo of it.

RE: RE: Menston Fire Station
The firestation was next to the Menston Arms, now a cottage before the gates of Fairfax Hall. My grandfather wad a fireman there too in the home guard.

RE: RE: Menston Fire Station
Craig Burton has sent me a message telling me that the Menston fire station was next to the Menston Arms, now a cottage before the gates of Fairfax Hall. His grandfather was a fireman too, it appears at the same time as my father. Any photos or further information would be most helpful
