My Birth Place
A Memory of Milton of Balgonie.
I was born at Balfour Gardens in l941 and grew up there during the War with my grandparents - Edward & Celia Veitch. The Veitchs were eight brothers & sisters and our Sunday gatherings were quite something. I also played in the old Balfour House but also in the one acre walled garden which has peaches, nectarines and goose berries a-plenty.I often recall these happy days.
