Parade Cafe & Amusement Arcade

The Parade Cafe & Amusement Arcade is on the left in your picture, My Father bought it for 5000.00 in 1956. It stayed in the family until my brother-in-law Billy Burrows sold it in the mid 1980's. Business-wise it was a goldmine, in those days it was one of the safest beaches on the coastline for 7 miles in each direction. They were still finding land mines all along the East Coast from World War II, and Mundesley had the only good beach access. Great days for my family.

RE: RE: Parade Cafe & Amusement Arcade

Hi,
In my new book "All My Life............A Showman" I write extensively about my late Father's purchase of the Parade Cafe and Amusement Arcade shown on the left of the picture in the above postcard. If any of the customers who who either served in the RAF ( my Mother used to cook for many of those RAF boys that were stationed at Trimingham Air Force Base ) or the local 1956 kids that were regular customers in those days and remember me or my family, I can be reached at anglobritish@aol.com.  If Chris Paine sees this comment, please get in touch.
