New Haw
I well recall New Haw as i lived there from 1960 till 1976 (aged 5-21) . I went to Grange School first and then Fullbrook . I would as a child go to these shops for my mum to get the meat and to the paper shop for my comic. Up the road to the right was the Carlton sweet shop, ow what happy times i had in New Haw as a young boy growing up.

RE: RE: New Haw
Hi Steve, Yes, your email found me in good health and in a very nostalgic mood having written a long blog on the post card site. What fun to catch up! I returned to the UK and in January and had a reunion up at The Otter Pub., with some of the Grange School/Fullbrook Girls and Katrina Roots brought the panoramic Fullbrook photograph. And Hazel Richards was great at contacting us. It was the 2nd time to meet up: we stayed for long time. I don't think it is coloured glasses or anything...It really was a great childhood. I wrote a long blog on the site about how I used to play with Nigel Stevens and Ian O'Driscoll, I think they lived in Woodham Park Way. Take care Suzanne
