Searching

I knew my grandfather and grandmother came from the area and we past through onto the town where they lived last - Strichen which was not too far away from New Pitsligo. I treasured the stillness and history of the area. Happy memories. Still searching for family from here Watt and Willox.

RE: RE: Searching

What year were they there in Strichen? As my dad is from that area, he is now 60 years old. I'm also in Australia, in Perth.

RE: RE: Searching

Hi there, my name is Jim Park. I was born in the north east of Scotland, St Fergus By Peterhead. I used to work in place called Fetterangus (better known to the locals as Fishie). One of my work mates married a Willox from Fishie. As far as I can remember, her name was Agnes Willox, married to James Henderson from St Fergus (Scotstown Farm). As far as my faiher remembers the Willox family still stays in Fishie. This might help in your search, if not bin it. Good luck on your search. JIM PARK
