My grandfather was the head master at Dunbeg School, he lived in the school house. Does anyone have any photos or stories? I would love to hear anything please.

I went to Dunbeg School in the 1960s and my headmaster was called Charlie MacInnes, do you relate to him?

My father, was headmaster of Dunbeg School and we lived in the schoolhouse from 1972 till 1979. I remember there being very much a sense of community in Dunbeg, and I have very fond memories of there as a child. My dad took part in a fundraising jump off Connel Bridge, to raise funds for the village hall in Dunbeg. I used to bring my pony down sometimes at the weekend, but the education dept were not happy and put a stop to that!
