More about this scene

The New Inn is a welcome haven in the centre of the small village, with its own car park at the side allowing calling motorists to leave the narrow street. The inn has been renamed The Bucket of Blood, which refers to the story that in the days when sailors and smugglers drank here, blood was found in the well, which led to the finding of a murdered revenue officer at the bottom.
