The Lancaster, Small, Lancaster And Woods Family

A Memory of Pilley.

I was born in Barton on sea in 1965 My mothers family Harry Lancaster and Emily Jane Small lived at Burnt Lane Lymington. Harry used to work on the Railway. They had five children three boys and two girls Dorathy and Norah Lancaster I am unsure what school they went too? Norah my mother was born in 1930. September 1947 she married Norman ( Known as Jim) Smith in bolder church Lymington. My grandparents Harry and Emily are both buried in Boldre church, Diamond and Sons conducted the funeral. My mother and Mr Smith had a short married they had a son called Michael Dennis around 1948 and a second son in 1951 Ish, called Richard Allan John Smith. Norah met my Father Maurice Frederick Woods which lived in New Milton and worked as a coal man and farmer. They got together and my mum left Mr Smith. They had their first child Raymond Woods in 1954 and Pamela in 1955 they married in June 1960 unsure where? But it was in Hampshire, could of been a registry office?. We lived in bashley, pilley, Ashley, Pennington.
