Walking to Skippool

When I was young we lived a short distance from here. A Sunday afternoon walk usually involved "going top see the boats"

RE: RE: Walking to Skippool

Hello Alan - I remember painting Skippool when I was at the teacher training college in 1975- 1978. I loved Poulton le Fylde and have many happy memories of my time there. I hope it's not changed too much! It was nice seeing our old campus - I never knew it was the convalescent home. I loved the grounds of the college - I'm not sure if I learned anything during my time there but I became a really good teacher. Kind regards - Kathryn
