my grandmother stayed at 169a High Street, Rickmansworth, above the butchers shop called dixies the butcher. I have happy memories of going to visit her. We would come down from Glasgow every year on holidays, a big adventure in those days. I have fond memories of watching the cars go through the splash and going for a paddle in the River Chess, also with fishing net and jam jar. Kind regards, Allan Staulkey.
