I remember Saturday morning matinées there in the 60s, brilliant time spent! Sneaking in sometimes when the cleaner forgot to lock the side exits! Fantastic.

It was the same situation at the Odeon on Washway Road. They left the side door open on Saturday mornings!
I remember watching the film of Tom Jones there when the film suddenly stopped and the screen went blank. A hastily hand-written note was shown, saying that John F Kennedy had been shot.
