My mother was born in Windsor Street, Salisbury, and she lived there up until she got married. My grandmother moved to Devizes Road, after my mother got married, and we used to all go to stay with my grandparents in holiday times. I remember seeing on many occasions in Salisbury, the brewery's horses and carts carrying barrels of beer, through the town. Both of my grandparents have sadly passed away now, but I have very happy memories of them both and the times I spent with them in Salisbury.
