My grandfather, John Crane, lived in Scorton & worked at Wyresdale Park for approximately 10 years from 1900. My father Christopher A. & his 2 sisters, Mary Ann & Ellen, went to Scorton school. My question is :- Does the name "Crane" mean anything to anyone in Scorton today? Thanking one & all. C. L. Crane.
My family met the Alderson family from Scorton when they came to Bingley Hall in Birmingham to a cattle show.
