My Grandparents and Father
Hello I'm hoping someone may be able to help me. I'm trying to find anything to do with my grandparents /fathers life, especially old photos of the area they lived and worked. My Home Town
I was born in Flint in 1946. Looking at the old photos in your memory archives of the 1950s, it brought back a lot of old happy memories to me. Jones Balers
Looking back from this photo is the site of the original Jones Balers factory. I have many fond memories of my early working life with a wonderful bunch of collegues at the factory. I often visited Herbie Ellis' shop which later was to be in one of the houses in this pond photo, also the Red Lion pub nearby.

Saltney Wood Memorial School
The picture of the school brings back lots of memories of my childhood. I left there after passing my 11 plus and went to Hawarden Grammar School.
I am now 57 years old and a school teacher in Bangkok, Thailand.
