Schools and church
Pantasaph holds many memories for me. I remember travelling from Lixwm with my Mother, brother and sister and going to Sunday Mass at church, also travelling in a pony and trap to attend Midnight Mass. I loved these services, loved to listen to the monks as they chanted before each mass. I also attended Sy Aloysious High School, then when that closed I went to the local catholic school. I would get a bus from Lixwm to Brynford and then if I was lucky catch another bus in Brynford to Pantasaph. It was a long walk if we missed it, sometimes walking in the rain.
