Cove Cottage
My family have lived at Cove Cottage for 80 years. It was originally owned by the Bright family whom my grandfather worked for all his life. My parents were lucky enough to buy the cottage after my grandmother passed away aged 93.

RE: RE: Cove Cottage
I remember going to Cove Cottages as a child. My grandfather Richard Mason worked for the Brights family as a groom, he then went on to work at Bank House Farm, locally known as Mason's Farm. I have very little memory or information about him, and I am trying to trace my family tree. I can remember living at Bank House Farm as a child. Grandad Mason passed away when I was about 5 years old, 1965-66? I recently found an old picture of Grandad Mason with Mr H Bright's "Silverdale Loyalty" first prize polo 2 year old polo pony, which won first prize at Chesire Royal in 1925, but so far I have been unable to find out any more info regarding him.
