More about this scene

Of all the churches featuring in the Berkshire list, Slough's Gospel Tabernacle is the most modern, and therefore has the most recent history. Pastor W T Richards founded his church in 1943 in a Scout hut, and the present brick building in Pitts Road, now renamed as Slough Christian Centre, was built in 1964.

If this has sparked a memory, why not share it here?

I went to this church from when I was 10 days old and left when I was 15 we had some nice times there . Many memories
In June of 1988, this is where I was married. It had been the home of my church, until the congregation outgrew the building a few years earlier.
