Born In Southall
A Memory of Southall.
I was born at 18, Cranleigh Gardens on the 23/05/1936, my was born in Whites Cottage, Kings Street Southall onthe 26//091905 my grandfather was Southall first fire officer my grandfather was Edward (Ted) J Bowden & my grandmother was Catherine M Bowden nee Woods they came Southall from Iver Bucks., they moved from there to 145 Beaconsfield Road Southall for the rest of their lives they had 5 more children my dads name was Harry Bowden & my mums was kate Bowden nee Hart my name is Ron Bowden & I married Dorothy bowden nee Wickson of Bulls Bridge, Icame to Australia in !964 & now retired to Adelaide, but have in all the states at one time or another, my wife Dorothy died of cancer november 1990 & in 1902 I remarried A lady from Durham between we have 6 children, my 4 & her 2, 5of them live in different parts of Queensland so in our winter we go to the tropical north for 3 or 4 months & stay warm, inthe 51 years I have been here Ihave met no one from Southall & 1person from Hayes, if there anyone who knows me I would be very pleased to hear from them
