Does anyone remember Clive and Terry Wren ladi marmol(ads aerial), the great Freddy Laker, Jack Jones. Mike Abbot to name a very few? We had some great times then, flying was fun and a lot less restricted than it is now.

RE: RE: Airport Characters

Hi Terry, Yes, I remember all of the people you mention and more! I also remember you - If you are the Terry Grimwood who was a flying instructor with Thames Estury F/C. Remember the Rallye??? I'm still in touch with Clive and I worked with Nigel Brendish at Harvest air, building replica a/c and engineering. I'm still at the airport now, in the old BAF hangar, but teaching aerospace engineering to apprentices. I believe you moved to the Lands End area and flew out of St. Just?

All the best,

John
