The Wild Man Inn c1965

Did the Wild Man have a celebrity landlord/owner in the late 1950s, early 1960s? We were discussing this today, and I can vaguely remember he had something to do with Billy Cotton?

RE: RE: Sproughton Wild Man

I believe you're referring to Alan Breeze, who was a singer with the Billy Cotton Band. He was the landlord of the Flixton Buck near Bungay in the mid-60s but I hadn't heard that he was ever at the Sproughton Wild Man. I'm sure some of the older people in Sproughton would still remember him if he was.
