Happy Memories

I was born in St Fergus in 1946 at 5 Links View. I went to school there for 2 years. My teacher's name was Miss Will. 5 Links View was my grannie's home. We lived at Kinloch Cottages that looked down over Newton. We moved from there to Kirton Cottages just along past the Kingie. Our neighbours there were the Stevens family. I was only 3 or 4 then but I can remember it quite well. We then moved to Lonmay where we lived at Blairmormond Farm Cottages where I went to Blackhills School and then on to Crimond School. I now live in a small village in Fife near Cupar.

RE: RE: Happy Memories

Was surprised when I read previous memory as my grannie also lived at 5 Links View. St.Fergus and James Park is my cousin whom I havent heard of for many, many years. I was brought up just outside St. Combs at Bankhead and attended St.Combs school then Fraserburgh academy.Jimmys sister Sheila and I were both born on the same day.

RE: RE: Happy Memories

Hi Margaret, I remember Bankies very well, bringing up loads of memories. How is every body doing? I have lost touch with loads of relatives, my fault I think, the last time I saw you was at Sheila Geordie's wedding. I have recently retired, now learning how to work this typewriter with a screen haha. I have started to do my family tree. Good God, I never knew we had so much family, just been touch with Doris in Wales, do you remember her, and Dorothy in Peterhead (Doshie), had few surprises I can tell you, had a Hazel Bruce in Manchester contact me, her dad was your mother Kate's brother, his name was Albert Bruce (Bert). If you have any birth dates etc or old photos it would be great. I will give you my e-mail address so we can keep in touch. Jimmy & Maggie E-MAIL: jpark841@btinternet.com PHONE 01334870607
