My Family of Anderson in Stokenchurch

I would like to remember all the members of the Anderson families in Stokenchurch. My mother was Bertha May Anderson, daughter of Abel and May Anderson. Abel's brother Harry had a chair factory in Stokenchurch called Harry Anderson and Son Ltd. This has now been demolished and in its place is an housing estate. My Anderson family originally came to Stokenchurch from Ashendon and Winchendon, Bucks. Other families connected to the Anderson Families are Saunders, Lacey, Poole, Messenger and many more. Please get in touch if you are also interested in the families of Stokenchurch. We could be related!!

RE: RE: My Family of Anderson in Stokenchurch

Sue We have just come across this site and were very interested to see your reference to the Anderson family.  My family name is Hunt and we lived on Wycombe road just below where Harry had his factory opposit the bus depot as was.  Harry and my grandfather, Bertie, were pals and I have a couple of photos of them together that you might like copies of.  If you see this notice then drop me a line on dfh.htriples@ntlworld.com and we can make contact. Doug Hunt Son of Cyril and Mabel (nee Payne) Grandson of Bertie and Hannah (nee Jones and who died a few months before I was born in July 1950)
