ABUSED
I was 11 years old when I attended this school in Whaley Bridge, the years 1970-1975, and I was sexually abused by the headmaster Mr Cory, he would take me upstairs above the showers and touch me and kiss me, also when he got the chance he would take me out on my own in the car and go up to the moors pretending he was going bird watching and I am not the only person who was abused there. I wish the people who was also tell there story about this school for paedos.

RE: RE: ABUSED
I was at Taxal Lodge from 1964-69, I loved it. Mr Cory was the headmaster, he was the nicest headmaster you could meet. I also would go in his car to the moors and all we did was bird watching. I would go on my own many, many times and sometimes there would be 3 or 4 of us and all we did was bird watching. So from 1969 he went from a great headmaster to a paedo in one year. No way. I'm shocked. He was marred with 3 girls. I have great memories of the school and Mr Cory and always will.

RE: RE: ABUSED
As Stuart Harnett, I was at Taxal around 1966 to 1972. I was a friend of his brother Paul. I also had a great time there, I don't believe any of it but I do remember Geoff Duke, he had a gob as big as a tunnel, snitch was his trade mark, he told lies about other boys that were at Taxal. The teachers [some of them] were guilty of physical abuse, a teacher called John Holden, he would grab hold of your neck and slap you very hard on the back. I have seen boys' backs bruised from the bottom of the neck to the bottom of the spine, I think Mr Cory is only guilty of turning a blind eye at times. Coming from Hr Hillgate, Stockport, we couldn't afford holidays at Taxal, the two weeks in Littlehampton were great days, lots of fun. I remember Taxal Lodge as a great place to live. All the best to the boys from Taxal.
