A Memory of Uckfield.

I used to live in Meadow Place can any one tell me any history about these sweet cottages ? we think they were built 1820.

My brother currently lives in meadow place and has a lot of info on its history. They were built in 1805/06 as brick workers cottages for ridgewood brick yrd. Mid 1800's number 7 & 8 were a private school.
He can help with more info if needed

Hi.
My father Ernest Goldsmith was born at 2 Meadow Place 1922.
I would be very intrested in any information about these cottages.
