More about this scene

Abersoch was keen to advertise itself as 'the Welsh Riviera'. A horse-drawn conveyance is picking up passengers; it is a lovely sunny day, so perhaps they are off for a picnic. The church dates from 1875. Abersoch has grown fast in recent years; it offers a golf course, deep sea fishing, yachting and extensive sands.

I am Ian Robinson and I worked at Land and Sea and then the Tarantella in 1965 with a guy called Rob Smedley the Tarantella was managed by a Mrs Olwyn Robinson and I think the owner was called Preston though I am not too sure of that. Does anyone know what happened to Rob Smedley I would very much like to know.
