More about this scene

Stag Lodge is one of the entrances to the grounds surrounding Cuerden Hall. Several local families have held the estate, including the Towneleys who built the present hall and an ornamental lake. The Sue Ryder Foundation currently owns the hall. Despite the forbidding notice on the gate, much of the parkland is now incorporated within a delightful country park.
