Seen here are the Star, run by Rupert Darby in 1931, and beyond it the Mid Hants Supply Stores Ltd, grocer's and post office; across the road is Bentley Garage. Charles Windsor-Richards was the motor engineer and haulage contractor. The Brewer family were at the Red Lion, which is just past the shop.

I met my husband at the Bull Inn, Bentley and we lived and worked there together for 2 years before we moved up to Newcastle to raise our 2 wonderful daughters. I am just wondering if Mary and Peter are still running the old place?
