This is at the end of the village street, cut off by the bypass which nearly runs between the two 'goal posts' (left) - this idyllic view cannot be seen today. The building dates from c1480, and originally comprised a central hall and the jettied wing to the left. The central gabled window is inscribed WB1880, for Walter Brown of Brent Eleigh Hall.
