HI I lived on the hi rise estate Kemble house do you remember dells sweet shop ? we used to get our jublees there. or further down Teds news agents near the hero of Switzerland pub...... around 1966/70 odd happy days
I lived in Sussex Road of cold harbour lane number 91.did anyone else live in that Road my name then was Linda warren
I was born in coronation year 1953 at the Annie McCaul Hospital in Jeffreys Road, Clapham. I grew up at 20 Plato Road, just off the Acre Lane in Brixton in the 50s and early 60s. What a fantastic time it was. I fondly remember it with great affection as the golden era when Brixton was Brixton. My brother and I and friends would all go to the Palladium, we would watch Cowboy and Indian films and we would all boo when the Indians came on. We also saw great cartoons. I think we payed 6 pence. We all sang the Saturday morning song "We are the Boys and Girls " ... and I can't rememember the rest of the words. All I know is I loved going, I would look forward to Saturday morning.
