More about this scene

When this photograph of the Gloster Aircraft Company complex was taken, aircraft production was drawing to a close. The firm's final product, a delta-winged Gloster Javelin, took off from the factory's airstrip in 1963. British Nylon Spinners took over the site, followed by ICI Fibres, then Du Pont.
