Lock Keepers Cottage

A Memory of Brookwood.

In this photo, there is a cafe in the background. This house used to be the lock-keeper's cottage, owned by my great-grandparents. My mother used to play on a derelict barge opposite the house on the canal. Are there any Webbs still in Brookwood that remember Ted and Gert Webb, my grandparents?

My grandmother was Mary Matilda Coultrip nee Webb. My dad remembered staying with his grandparents at some point. He was born in 1918 now passed on sadly. Dad would speak of Aunt Rose (Rosa Jane)? She had a son called Cliff who emigrated to Australia.
I can confirm my granddad's sister was Rose who's son Cliff and wife emigrated to Australia.
I got this information from a Rosanna Kish.
I know live in Norfolk and I'm afraid I don't know of any Webbs that might still be "with us".
