Woodland Blaenavon

A Memory of Blaenavon.

My Grandmother Abigail Owens was born in a street called Woodland, in Blaenavon. She is on the 1891 census aged 4 but there is not a house number. Many years later in 1944 my mother Thelma, Abigails daughter, stayed at 92 High Street for a short time with her baby son Bryan, to escape the bombs on London. The other people living in the house at that time were Rhoda and Fred with their son Norman.
I'm wondering if Rhoda and Fred were related to us or just family friends. If any one has any information please let me know at bonnietandy@talktalk.net.
