Please Help

A Memory of Bramley.

I am looking for anyone with information on a Mary Frances Marchant. My grandmother, her and her family are all from Bramley - she was born March 1915. So I'm looking for anyone with memories of their grandparents who may of mentioned the family, that maybe able to help ..Children of Frederick George Marchant and Harriet Wellen are:
William Marchant.
Mary Frances Marchant, b. 09 Mar 1915, Bramley, Surrey, d. Nov 1994, Kent.
Edwin James Marchant, b. 05 Aug 1915, Bramley, Surrey, d. Apr 1984, London... my gran had my mum and as I understand she was married, but her husband passed away and she was left to raise my mum alone, she worked for a Dr Roberts.. but I know very little else .. Please help.

Hi, Frederick was my grandfather. When he returned from the war Harriett was carrying a baby which was not his - he applied for and was given a poor man's divorce, but this was rescinded as he was caught living with Jessie, my grandmother, who had had his child. He was given custody the three children Mary, Edwin and William - they are all now deceased. Harriett's baby was born in East Grinstead.

My gran was born 1913 before the war ? But she had my mum at the age of 40 which is strange for that time so i wondered if my gran mary frances marchant had anymore children and had some sort of tragedy during the 2nd war maybe .
