Dyffryn Seconday School

A Memory of Cwm.

I was born in 1955 and lived in Cwm. I went to Dyffryn Secondary School before going on to the North Monmouthshire College of Further Education to study a Secretarial course. My friends at the time were Georgina Griffiths, who used to live in Stanley Street and Susan Holyoake whose parents used to live and own a butchers in Marine Street. My name back then was Wallace and I had two sisters, Dianne and Sylivia, who were both younger than me. I used to live in Canning Street but moved to Bristol when I was 18.
