My Early Years Living In Dudley, West Midlands.

A Memory of Dudley.

I was born in Dudley West Midlands, up till the age of 7 yrs old I lived in Cannock staffs.
when my Dad changed jobs we came back to Dudley, My mother became a church
Caretakers for the Congration church, which isn't there now, we moved from there
and went to live in The high street, on the Highside, which is now a Garden,
I remember my mum taking me to Dudley zoo about 3 times a year, I always loved
the Polar Bears, I went to Park girls School, a Victorian School, which they pulled down
it was a lovely school, Miss Napier was the Headmistress. I left in 1958,In 1960,
I left with my Mother and her sisters to live in Worthing Sx. I have been here 54 yrs
I meet my late husband in 1961 and we married in 1966,dudley will always be my
home, (My dad is buried in Dudley Cemetary,
I have lost touch with a lot of my Schoolfriends in Dudley.I still have relations in
Cannock staffs.
