A Memory of Eltham.

I was brought up in Eltham and lived at no 30 High St where my Mother & Father had a bicycle & sports shop.Everyday I would go across the road to the swimming baths, and at that time there was the vicarage on the opposite corner of Sherrard Road, next to the vicarage gardens was Carter Pattersons who had their horses stabled there. As did the RACS behind Hinds department store. I adored horses and used to hang around the riding stables behind the high street. Where we lived most of the land behind us was fields apart from Kings Orchard where there were a few houses. Thought you might like to share this with me.
