Ida Brandon

A Memory of Gilfach Goch.

After a trip to Gilfach Goch in July 1999 I started researching my family tree. I live in Cape Town South Africa and my mother was Ida Brandon, born 2nd February 1919. Her brother was Ernest Brandon and her sister Lilian. Through a very kind lady and contact given to me whilst In Gilfach Goch, I contacted Ruth James of Oak Street and she kindly helped me to obtain a copy of my mother's birth certificate. My maternal grandmother was Catherine Ann Thomas. I would love to correspond with anyone who knew my mother - she went to school in Gilfach Goch.
