A Memory of Heston.

This memorial stands at the junction of Heston Road and New Heston Road. The church is on the opposite side of the road. During the early 60s the mods on their scooters used to meet up at the church car-park in the evenings.

I went to Heston School 1960-1965 and lived on the Brabazon Estate off Cranford Lane. I became a mod and used to meet outside the church opposite memorial also at the Birds Nest in Hounslow High St.

I was one of those Mods who used to meet up in Heston Church car park every night in those fabulous 1960's.
